Filmmakers should take suggestions from public: Sartaj

Though the social media was a medium to bring people closer but excess of anything was harmful, said Sufi singer and actor Satinder Sartaj. He was interacting with students during ‘Talk with Sartaj’ event at Chandigarh University, Gharuan.
Addressing the millennials, the Sufi Singer said: “Limit the time being spent in the virtual world and start spending quality time with friends and family.”
Talking about creativity and ideas, Satinder Sartaj said: “Rather than consulting expert filmmakers, musicians and singers, the composers should take suggestions from public as they are the real source of creativity and will give the right feedback.”
Interacting with the students of film and television studies, animation, performing arts, Sartaj said: “Your work in films or music will be appreciated only when the mass audience feels connected to it.”
Sartaj said: “The youth these days is more educated, aware not only about his or her interest but also about other happenings around the world,”
