A fire broke out on the first floor of a private clinic, Abrol ENT Institute and Research Centre, in the Sector 22-C market here around 11.30 am today. Dr Raman Abrol, an otolaryngologist (ENT specialist), runs that clinic. There were no reports of injuries or casualties due to the fire.

The fire started on the first floor of the building near an X-ray machine in the afternoon and soon engulfed a significant portion of the premises. Upon receiving a call, fire brigade units from Sector 17 rushed to the scene. Additional fire engines had to be called from Sector 32 to control the massive blaze.
