Five Chandigarh Housing Board units fetch Rs 3.67 crore at e-auction

The Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) has earned more than Rs 3.67 crore from five properties auctioned on a freehold basis.
The CHB had invited e-bids for the sale of 10 commercial and six residential units on a freehold basis. When the bids were opened today, the CHB was able to sell four commercial and one residential unit.
The residential unit was sold to the highest bidder for Rs. 26,00,505 against the reserve price of Rs. 25,89,776. Similarly, the four commercial units were sold for Rs. 3,41,27,052 against the reserve price of Rs. 3.40 crore. Bids invited for plot at IT Park
The CHB has invited e-bids to sell a residential plot, measuring about 4.95 acres, at the IT Park on a freehold basis. Recently, the CHB had decided to offer eight plots, measuring 38 acres, on a freehold basis to private builders for the construction of flats at the IT Park.
