Five Panchkula Police personnel felicitated on Independence Day
Haryana Minister Shruti Choudhry honoured five Panchkula police personnel for their exemplary service, in the presence of Commissioner of Police Sibash Kabiraj, DCP Srishti Gupta, and DCP Crime & Traffic Manpreet Singh Sudan during the Independence Day celebrations.
The officers recognised for their outstanding contributions were Inspector Sunil Kumar, Sub-Inspector Tejinder Pal Singh, Woman Head Constable Ramandeep Kaur, Constable Sahil, and Constable Praveen. Each was commended for displaying dedication, courage, and commitment in their respective duties.
The Independence Day parade also saw performances by the Panchkula Police. Under the leadership of ACP Dinesh and Sub-Inspector Ashish Kumar, the men’s platoon showcased discipline and synchronisation, securing third place. Equally impressive was the spirited march by the women’s platoon, led by ASI Shivani, which won admiration from spectators with its energy and enthusiasm.
The Commissioner of Police congratulated both platoons and announced a cash reward along with two days of special leave for the teams. The DCP also praised the women’s platoon, describing their march as “a splendid display of Nari Shakti,” while extending warm congratulations to the men’s platoon for achieving third place. She added that the olice would continue to set an example of discipline, dedication and service.
