Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma took serious note of a complaint raised by Naresh, a resident of Masiyun village in Morni, regarding the sinking of his house and an electricity pole during recent rainfall. He directed the concerned officials to immediately visit the site, assess the situation and submit a detailed report.
Presiding over the government-directed Samadhan Camp held at the Mini-Secretariat auditorium, Sharma instructed district officers to address all grievances brought forward by residents on priority and within the prescribed timelines. He emphasised that prompt and effective grievance redressal remains a key responsibility of every department.
During the camp, the Deputy Commissioner heard the concerns of five residents and issued directions for their early resolution. He said that, as per Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s instructions, Samadhan Camps are being organised regularly every Monday and Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon to ensure swift resolution of public complaints. The Chief Minister also personally monitors issues raised in these camps.
