BJP councillor Saurabh Joshi today said he would ply a boat if the problem of waterlogging in his ward was not solved before the onset of monsoon.
Joshi was speaking during the meeting of the Water Supply and Sewerage Disposal Committee. He cited areas such as Government Quarters in Sector 15 (backside of water works) and heritage underpass between Sectors 15 and 11, built by Le Corbusier, which are plagued by recurring waterlogging.

He urged officials to prioritise crucial pre-monsoon preparations, including the thorough cleaning of drains.
