A fire broke out in a flat in Imperial Residency, Peermuchalla area of Zirakpur on Thursday evening. However, no loss of life was reported in the incident.

The fire broke out in a flat on the fourth floor at 6.30 pm, when the owner of the flat went to the market after keeping the flame of an earthen lamp burning at the his house. Furniture and other articles were gutted. — TNS
