Mohali airport: Flight schedule for summers
Mohali, February 23
Hisar, Dharamshala and Jammu would have enhanced connectivity from Chandigarh as the summer schedule of the Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport kicks in on March 31. SBSIA Chandigarh airport officials said the Chandigarh-Mopa Goa flight has been discontinued.
From the existing 74 flights in winters, the number of flights would go up to 96 in summers, with 48 arrivals and 48 departures. Akasa Airlines would also make its foray into the Chandigarh skies for the first time. Six aircraft would take a night halt here now in summers, one up from the existing arrangement in winters.
The Chandigarh-Delhi airfare continues to remain high, even as the road access has been diverted at many places due to the ongoing farmer protest.
