Flight service resumed at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport here today with 13 flights operating from the airport till evening.

Eight arrivals and five departures to Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru saw the airport coming back to life, although still some distance away from normalcy.

The first flight arrived from Mumbai at 8:11 am and departed at 9:04 am. Most of the arrivals and departures were from Delhi. The last flight to depart was to Delhi at 7:59 pm. After that, there were no flights in the evening.

Fiftytwo flights operate here with an average footfall of 10, 000 passengers daily. Flight operations had been restricted since May 9 amid heightened tensions with Pakistan.
