Chandigarh: A foetus was found in a dustbin at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, on Tuesday.

The police said a case under Section 318 (concealment of birth by secret disposal of body), IPC, had been registered against an unknown person at the Sector 34 police station. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
