Chandigarh, January 18

As foggy conditions continue to impact visibility in the region, the rail traffic was affected today too.

The Vande Bharat Express arrived here late by 19 minutes at 8.57 am. The New Delhi-Kalka Shatabdi was late by 21 minutes when it reached the station at 11.20 am.

The Kalka-New Delhi Shatabdi departed on time but reached New Delhi with a delay of one hour and 28 minutes at 11.43 am.

The Lucknow-Chandigarh Express arrived with a delay of 2 hours 12 minutes. The Paschim Express (Amritsar-Mumbai Central) reached at 1.08 pm with the delay of 58 minutes. The Netaji Express arrived at 1.24 pm, late by 11 hours 49 minutes. The New Delhi-Kalka Shatabdi reached here at 9.31 pm against its scheduled arrival of 8.30 pm.

The New Delhi-Chandigarh Shatabdi, which reaches Chandigarh at 10.35, was running one hour behind schedule. — TNS

2 flights cancelled, 12 delayed

Mohali: Two flights were cancelled and 12 got delayed at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport here on Thursday. The early morning departure to Mumbai at 5:55 am and the arrival from Pune at 5:55 am were cancelled. Most of the delayed flights were behind schedule from 30 minutes to an hour.
