Fortis Hospital Mohali launches state-of-the-art vertigo and balance disorders clinic
Fortis Hospital, Mohali, has launched a state-of-the-art balance disorders and vertigo clinic at the facility for advanced diagnosis and treatment of vestibular disorders, which affect the balance and spatial orientation systems of the body. For this, the hospital has partnered with world’s largest chain of vertigo and dizziness clinics Neuroequilibrium.
This collaboration brings world-class expertise and advanced technology to enhance patient care for balance disorders. The innovative clinic combines the expertise of neurologists and ENT specialists, offering advanced care for patients suffering from vertigo, imbalance (functional balance disorder), and the fear of falling.

International specialised tests which will be available include, video nystagmography (VNG), dynamic visual acuity (DVA), subjective visual vertical (SVV), cranio-corpography, posturography, videos head impulse test (VHIT), and vesitbular evoked myogenic potential (cVEMP).
