Four-day music mornings begin at Strawberry playschool
The opening day of the music mornings at Strawberry Fields School was a heartwarming celebration of music, joy and innocence. Held today, the programme marked the beginning of a four-day journey of songs and poems presented by the children of the playschool run by the Durga Das Foundation.
The setting fostered a special bond between the young performers and their parents, who watched with pride as their children took the stage.
The morning’s performance was a tribute to everything bright and beautiful in the lives of pre-schoolers. Children sang cheerful songs about relationships, the environment and their everyday experiences. A colourful backdrop created by their teachers to complement the themes of each song transformed the library into a storybook world.
Confident and enthusiastic, the three-four year olds sang with ease, their natural expressions lighting up the room. They responded quickly to their cues and blended harmoniously with the piano notes, proving that music truly had the power to lift the spirits and spread joy.
The morning ended with smiles all around, children radiating happiness and confidence and parents brimming with pride. “At Strawberry Fields, these young learners have begun their journey with music, joy and wonder,” school director Atul Khanna said.
