Playing under family-like conditions at the Chandigarh Golf Club greens, Gaganjeet Bhullar jumped into the lead on the second day of the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL). Bhullar delivered a top-notch 1-under 71 finish to share the leaderboard with overnight leader Shaurya Binu at 3-under.

Bhullar (70-71) and Binu (69-72) lead the pack, followed by Kapil Kumar and Harendra Gupta at 1-under. As many as six others were at even-par on a course that witnessed fast-paced golf under a bright sun on Thursday.

Bhullar opened with a bogey but rallied with birdies on the second and fourth before settling into a string of pars. He birdied the 12th but gave that stroke back with a bogey on the 14th, closing with a 71 that took him to 3-under for the tournament.

Meanwhile, Binu, who began the day as the sole leader at 3-under, looked poised to pull away from the field with early brilliance. He fired three birdies against a single bogey in the first seven holes. After the turn, he added another birdie on the 12th to go 3-under for the day and 6-under for the tournament, appearing in full control. However, a double bogey on the back nine pulled him back to 1-over for the day. He ended with a birdie on the 17th.
