The Punjab Government has written to the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority and the Mohali Municipal Corporation, asking them to remove fibre sheets from all offices, houses and unauthorised buildings that come under their jurisdiction owing to the Covid-19 scare.

The letter, which was signed by the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), said, “According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there is a possibility that the Covid-19 infection can utterly spread across the state if fibre sheets cannot be removed timely from houses, common walls and roofs.”
