Chandigarh, December 30

Government Model High School (GMHS), Sector 36, overcame a two goal deficit to beat VELS Vidhyashram 3-2 in a boys’ sub-junior match at the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports (RFYS) 2019-20 National Football Finals at Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai, today.

Betkuchi High School, Guwahati, thrashed Vrajbhoomi Public School, Ahmedabad, 6-0, while The Unique Model Academy, Imphal, registered a 5-1 win over Progress High School, Goa. Vedas International School, Delhi, played a 1-1 draw against MSP Higher Secondary School, Kozhikode.

Titaguri High School, Kokrajhar, defeated Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Namakkal, 3-1 in the girls’ sub-junior contest.

Faith Higher Secondary School, Ahmedabad, drubbed Gorkha Military Inter College, Dehradun, 5-0, whereas St Joseph’s International School, Rohtak, secured a 2-0 win over Rosary Higher Secondary School, Goa.

In the boys’ college group, Shillong College held Loyola College, Chennai, to a 3-3 draw. Indore Christian College defeated DAV PG College, Dehradun, 5-1 and Dr Bhupendranath Dutta Smriti Mahavidyalaya, Kolkata, drubbed SS Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Goa, 6-1.
