GoAir suspends Hyderabad flight till Jan 24

In view of frequent cancellations and delayed arrivals due to persisting bad weather conditions, GoAir has suspended its Chandigarh-Hyderabad flight till January 24.

The spokesperson of Chandigarh International Airport Limited (CHIAL) revealed this here today.

Air India cancelled its Dharamsala-Chandigarh-Dharamsala flight today and is likely to cancel the flight for another day due to very poor visibility at Dharamsala.

MR Jindal, Station Manager, Air India, said the visibility dropped to below 50 metres at Dharamsala, due to which the flight was cancelled.

Meanwhile, eight more flights arrived and departed late. The GoAir G8-513/514 flight has been suspended with immediate effect. The flight used to arrive at 11:35 am and depart at 12:05 pm daily.

The Air Vistara UK-667 flight from Delhi arrived late by 3 hours and 35 minutes. It landed at 11:50 am against its scheduled arrival of 8:15 am. The same flight UK-668 left for Delhi 3 hours and 27 minutes late. It took off at 12:24 pm against its scheduled departure of 8:50 am.

The GoAir G8-913 flight from Srinagar arrived late by an hour and 22 minutes. The flight G8-911 departed late by an hour and 34 minutes. It took off at 1:34 pm against its scheduled departure of noon. Subsequently, the flight reached Srinagar late. It landed there at 2:40 pm against its scheduled arrival of 1:10 pm. The flight had departed late from the hill station. The flight departed from Srinagar at 3:18 pm instead of 1:45 pm, its scheduled departure, and reached Chandigarh at 4:22 pm.

The flights from Nanded, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Delhi arrived and departed late from 15 minutes to 45 minutes.
