A golf clinic was organised by international golfer Karandeep Kochhar under the aegis of the Chandigarh Golf Association (CGA) for budding golfers at the CGA range.

Kochhar gave valuable tips to junior golfers to help them improve their technique. The clinic was conducted for three hours. The event was attended by CGA president PS Pruthi and Dr GS Kochhar, member, Chandigarh Golf Club. Kochhar represented Chandigarh in the 2022 National Games, wherein he won two gold medals, both in individual and team events. He finished the 2023 Asian Tour Season ranked 18th in the Order of Merit, placing him as the second best Indian on the tour. He finished runners-up at the BNI Indonesian Masters 2023.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
