At the sports complex in Sector 42, where the Administration plans to set up a multipurpose indoor hall, the Administrator reviewed the proposed site. He said a consultant with international experience, preferably someone associated with international events/Olympics, should be appointed to oversee the project. He also suggested organising national-level games regularly at the venue to promote sports culture in the city.

At the new grain market in Sector 39, Kataria directed the officers to expedite the process of auction of shop-cum-offices (SCOs). At Sarangpur, he assessed the progress of various projects and reiterated the need to adhere to the timelines.
