Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria has sounded a grave warning over the escalating drug crisis in the state, emphasising its devastating impact on families and communities. Speaking at an awareness programme organised by the National Commission for Women (NCW), in collaboration with Panjab University, the Governor called for urgent and united efforts to address the issue.
Addressing a gathering of over 1,200 participants at PU’s Law Auditorium, Kataria described Punjab as the “sacred land of saints and sages” and stressed the need to harness its moral and cultural strength to combat the growing menace.
