The CBI arrested chief sanitary inspector Chandramohan and health supervisor in the sanitary department Sandeep Kumar while allegedly accepting bribe from a sacked employee, Jatinder of Ram Darbar.

In his complaint, Jatinder stated that he was working as sanitary inspector and was removed from the job recently. He said he sought help from Chandramohan to get his job back, who told him that he would have to convince Sandeep Kumar. When he met Sandeep, he sought Rs 3 lakh from the complainant. Since he did not want to give the bribe, he approached the CBI.
A trap was laid and the accused were arrested.
