An NIA court here has sent two accused Rohan Masih and Vishal Masih to two-day police remand to the National Investigating Agency (NIA). The accused had allegedly hurled a grenade at a house in Sector 10-D, Chandigarh, on September 11, 2024.

The NIA had sought the remand for their custodial interrogation to identify the person who accompanied them during the recce and to know the whereabouts of the weapons (two pistols), which was known to the accused persons and were yet to be recovered.

However, the defence counsel claimed that there was no reasonable explanation in seeking police custody.
