GST sleuths inspect architecture firms in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, February 15

Four teams of the GST Department conducted raids on several architecture firms in the city on the suspicion of tax evasion.

Officials examined GST returns, business models, past filings and portal-based data, and conducted on-site visits to gather crucial information.

According to the UT Administration, the inspections yielded substantial evidence, including pen drives, computers, loose documents and registers. Necessary proceedings have been initiated by the department.
