Chandigarh, April 9
A total of four matches were played today in the Gully Cricket Tournament being organised by the UT Cricket Association and the Chandigarh Police for youths aged between 14 and 18 years.
In the first match played at the PEC grounds, team number 38 registered a 104-run victory against team number 37. Gautam (82) and Sunil (67) steered to a total of 161/1 for team number 38. In reply, team number 37 was bowled out for 57 runs. Gautam and Adit took three wickets each.
In another match, team number 36 defeated team number 35 by 101 runs. Batting first, team number 36 scored 144/2. In response, team number 35 scored 43/6 in the allotted 10 overs. Team number 175 registered a five-wicket win over team number 176 while team number 173 won the match against team number 174 by 10 wickets.
