Multiple gunshots were fired by an unidentified car driver in a case of road rage near Landran on Tuesday.

Complainant Gurpreet Singh said the flare up took place on the Landran road when his vehicle touched another SUV. The accused came out of the vehicle and fired a gunshot at him, while a woman, who was sitting in the car, kept on hurling abuses at him. The duo fled the spot immediately.

When the cops traced the vehicle in Kharar, the miscreant reportedly fired at the complainant Gurpreet and a police team. Both car driver and the woman fled the spot. The police have recovered two empty bullet shells from the spot and impounded the vehicle, and have constituted teams to arrest the duo.
