Showcasing mental fortitude and all-round skill over four demanding rounds, clutch putting, particularly in the final round, were instrumental in keeping Harjai’s score steady under pressure and in harsh weather conditions. His composure on the greens proved decisive, especially as the field tightened on the final day.

He was tied for first place with Siddhant Nathan of Maharashtra (79-73-69-76), whose third-round 69 was the tournament’s lowest. The championship was ultimately decided in a sudden-death playoff, where Harjai maintained his focus and sealed the victory, clinching the title in the Combined A&B Boys category. Nathan finished as a deserving runner-up, also with an overall score of 297.

Harjai’s triumph, shaped by his technical finesse and competitive poise, reflects his dedication to the sport and the influence of his father, Jeev Milkha Singh, one of India’s most accomplished golfing icons.
