HC Bar felicitates Vice-Prez Dhankhar
Vice-President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar was felicitated by the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association today at the Punjab Raj Bhawan.
The Bar Association was represented by its office-bearers, including president Sartej Singh Narula, vice-president Nilesh Bhardwaj, honorary secretary Gagan Jammu and law officer Asheesh Bishnoi. A memento and bouquet were presented to the Vice-President as a token of respect and appreciation.
During the 30-minute meeting, Dhankhar, who began his legal career as an advocate and served as president of the Rajasthan High Court Bar Association, Jaipur Bench, engaged in a candid exchange with the Bar representatives. The interaction focussed on contemporary challenges facing the Indian judiciary and the legal fraternity.
The Vice-President expressed his deep regard for the legal profession and assured the representatives that he would visit the Punjab and Haryana High Court to meet the Bar after the summer vacation.
