Mohali, July 30

On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Amit Talwar and Civil Surgeon Dr Adarshpal Kaur, the food safety team of the district Health Department checked sweets shops in the city today. District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Subhash Kumar said the safety team checked quality and durability of sweets, especially the “Best before date” tag on container/tray holding sweets.

The SDM, Mohali, Sarabjit Kaur, was part of the checking team. The DHO said sweets shops in Phase 5, 3B2, Phase 8 and other places were checked during the drive.
