Submitting a memorandum to Panchkula MLA Chander Mohan, the committee termed the decision as impractical and unlawful. It was stated that the order would infringe upon employees’ privacy and also violate the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court.

Employees apprehended that linking mobile numbers, Aadhaar details and bank accounts could make them prone to cybercrime. They demanded that the government should immediately withdraw the order.

Rajesh Khayalia and Amarjeet of the HCMS Association, Vinita Baingar of the Staff Nurses Association, Ramesh Kumar and Surender Pal of the MPHE Association and Rajinder Singh of the OT Association were present on the occasion.
