Hockey meet from today
Chandigarh, June 17
The Hockey Chandigarh will organise State Senior Men Hockey Championship at the Sports Complex in Sector 42 here from June 18 to 24.
According to Anil Vohra, general secretary, Hockey Chandigarh, a total of eight teams are participating in the championship. The teams are the CHA-42, SGGS Hockey Club-26, ITBP, CISF, 3BRD Air Force, Rock Rovers Hockey Club, AG Punjab and Wonderers Club. It will be a league-cum-knockout championship and the teams were placed in two pools. The top two teams of each pool will play semifinals. Four matches will be played daily.
