Amid the Covid outbreak, China has closed all schools, universities, etc, for around 4-4.5 months, but their classes are being held regularly as per schedule through digital platforms, which prevent loss of studies and daily routine work. The authorities concerned should have a look at their system and adopt the same in India as well.

Close shopping malls, offices
In view of the Covid-19 threat, corrective measures such as closure of shopping malls, offices, ban on congregations, etc, will need to be implemented if situation does not improve. States such as Kerala and Odisha have already initiated these measures. International sports events such as IND-SA cricket series and IPL tournament have already been postponed, all visas for visitors to India cancelled and even the Supreme Court has declared to deal only urgent matters to reduce gatherings in the court. At this crucial moment of time, precautions can only help in containing the virus with minimum person-to-person contact in society.
