Homage paid to Pulwama martyrs
On the fifth anniversary of the Pulwama attack, the Panjab University unit Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) held a solemn tribute ceremony at the Student Centre to honour the CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the 2019 terrorist attack. Students paid their respects through candlelight and by observing a moment of silence, remembering the courage and sacrifice of the fallen soldiers. Student leaders delivered poignant speeches, reflecting on the heroes’ bravery and the importance of preserving their memory.
“We must never forget the sacrifices made by our soldiers,” said Parvinder Singh Negi, president of ABVP’s PU unit. “This tribute, though small, is our way of expressing gratitude and ensuring their courage lives on in our hearts,” said another student leader.
