Hyd to face Jaipur, Bangalore to take on Bhopal

Hyderabad will play against Jaipur, while Bangalore will take on Bhopal in the semifinals of the State Bank of India Inter Circle Cricket Tournament at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium.

In the last league matches, played today, Bangalore defeated Amaravati by 94 runs. Batting first, Bangalore amassed 209/3 in 20 overs. Amirudha Joshi smashed 94 off 29 balls, while Chettan Williams scored 42. In reply, Amaravati posted 115/7 in 20 overs. GN Srinivasa Rao (51) was the top scorer for the side. Ananad Katti claimed three wickets, while Sharath took one for Bangalore.Bhopal defeated Chandigarh by nine runs to march ahead in the championship. After electing to bat, Bhopal scored 180/4 in the allotted overs. Harsh Gawali (74) and Anthony Louis (43) were the two main scorers for the side. Sarabjeet claimed two wickets, while Varun Khanna took one for the bowling side. In reply, Chandigarh were restricted to 171/9 in 20 overs. Sanjay Mahajan (42) and Ravi Inder (39) made valuable contributions in the losing cause. Jyoti Prakash claimed three wickets and Jatin Sahay took two for Bhopal.
