Panchkula: The police have arrested two persons for allegedly running an illegal liquor manufacturing unit in a Morni village. The suspects have been identified as Bahadur of Nepal and Prithvi Singh of Morni. The police said they got a tip-off on Wednesday that some men were involved in manufacturing and selling illegal alcohol in Morni. A police team raided the unit in the forest area near Amri village. The police nabbed two persons and also seized two plastic drums filled with 250 litres of illicit liquor and other material. A case was registered. The police said efforts were on to nab the mastermind. — TNS
