Chandigarh's pet lovers meet Gulab Chand Kataria

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Pet Lovers Association on Wednesday met Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria and apprised him of the problems related to animals. Association president Vinod Kumar Sonu told Governor that the animal dispensaries in the city lacked modern facilities like X-ray, ultrasound, blood sample testing. He said people were forced to visit private hospitals for treatment of their pets, which were expensive.

Panchkula's Lt Col Varoon Parmar bags laurels in golf

Lt Col Varoon Parmar from Panchkula, serving with the 166 Infantry Battalion (TA) (H&H) Assam, bagged laurels in the 16th CISM World Military Golf Championships 2025 held in Kenya. Parmar claimed first position in the senior category, and third in the open category.
