Mohali: The Anti Narcotics Task Force on Friday arrested four persons, including a woman, and recovered 354 gm of narcotic powder, Rs 36,500 drug money and a car bearing a temporary registration number from them. The suspects were identified as Rupnagar residents Vishal Sharma (30), Natasha (24), Harmandeep Singh (20) and Nikhil Nayyar (30). A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against them.

Two bike thieves in police net

Mohali: Two youths were arrested while they were caught riding a stolen bike at a naka in Kharar here on Thursday. The suspects were identified as Ajay Kumar of Chandigarh and Munish of Kajheri. On their disclosure, the police recovered five more stolen bikes and booked their two associates, Malout resident Gurpreet Singh and Chirag Nagpal of Muktsar, in a theft case.

Over 15L visited AACs in 3 years

Mohali: As many as 15,64,202 people have availed of health facilities at 40 Aam Aadmi Clinics in the district since 2022. Medical consultation, medicines as well as lab tests are being provided at these clinics without any charge. Civil Surgeon Dr Sangeeta Jain said 3,48,663 persons got lab tests conducted at these clinics.
