Chandigarh: The UT Administration has announced a free travel facility for all woman passengers on Raksha Bandhan on Saturday. The special facility will be available in all local AC and non-AC buses operated by the Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) within the tricity. However, the concession will not apply to CTU’s long-route buses. TNS

UK raises visa fraud awareness

Chandigarh: The British High Commission on Wednesday said it had raised awareness of visa scam tactics in Punjab, helping protect people from exploitation, financial loss and emotional distress. It unveiled a new QR code for its WhatsApp chatbot, making it easier to access advice in an accessible format, in Punjabi.
