In Mohali district, 84 more found infected

The district reported 84 fresh positive cases, taking the case tally to 18,740. No fatality was reported.

Meanwhile, 72 more patients have recovered from the virus.

Among the new cases, 53 were reported from Mohali (urban), 15 from Dera Bassi, four each from Gharuan and Kharar, and eight from Dhakoli.

The district has seen 18,740 positive cases so far of whom, 17,456 patients have been cured. There are now 933 active cases. As many as 351 persons have succumbed to the virus.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
