The Institute of Cost Accountants of India has contributed Rs 2.50 crore to the PM CARES Fund to supplement government’s efforts towards scaling up the public healthcare infrastructure in the country.

“The challenge of gigantic proportions cannot be met without each one of us going beyond the call of duty. We are thankful to the elected representatives, members and students at large for their support at this crucial time,” said Balwinder Singh, president of the institute.

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has constituted the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES Fund) with the primary objective of dealing with any emergency situation such as the one posed by COVID-19 pandemic.
