Chandigarh, February 15

The Department of Cultural Affairs, in collaboration with the Tagore Theatre Society, would organise the 11th edition of the International Puppet Festival at Tagore Theatre here from February 17 to 21.

UT Administrator Banwarilal Purohit will inaugurate festival, which will see puppetry performances by artists from Russia, France, Brazil, USA and Sri Lanka.

Two shows will be held for school students daily — at 10:30 am and 6.30 pm.

A puppet exhibition will also be organised at the venue, offering both schoolchildren and general public an opportunity to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of puppetry. The exhibition will feature live demonstrations of puppet making.
