Int’l conference begins at UIET

Chandigarh: The University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University, inaugurated TEQIP-III sponsored three days online international conference titled “International conference on integrated interdisciplinary innovations in engineering”. The conference is being organised under twining activity of TEQIP-III in collaboration with the Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu, under the guidance and patronage of Prof Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University, Prof Savita Gupta, Director, UIET, and Dr Sameru Sharma, Principal, Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu. Reputed speakers will deliver 10 plenary talks, 12 invited talks and eight short invited talks during the conference. Participants from various institutes from India and abroad will present 200 oral/poster presentations during the technical programme. TNS

UIPS alumni explore career options

Chandigarh: The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) organised an international webinar for students on “Beyond the usual rule book: Exploring non-conventional career options for pharmacy graduates”. The webinar was organised under the IEC series of the MHRD Institution’s Innovation Council of the UIPS. The resource persons of the webinar were the UIPS alumni, including Seema Gupta, consultant pharmacist and director, AAKS (Vic) Pty Ltd, Melbourne, Australia; Renu Koul, business head, Tecsol Media Solutions, Bengaluru (Karnataka), and Veena Sehgal, business consultant, Cadence Hub, New Delhi.
