The Tribune School hosted the Investiture Ceremony-2025 with pride and solemnity. The newly elected student council was formally announced, with students taking up positions such as Eco-Ambassador, House Captain, Vice Captain, Sports Captain, Cultural Head, Discipline In-Charge, Head Boy and Head Girl.

Principal Rani Poddar addressed the gathering and congratulated the leaders and encouraged them to lead by example.

These roles were designated across the Senior Category and Grade 10, along with members of the Interact Club. Athletics meet from August 14

The Chandigarh Athletics Association will organise the Chandigarh Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior State Athletics Championship, at the Sector 7 Sports Complex, from August 14 to 17 under the aegis of Athletics Federation of India affiliated to Asian Athletics and World Athletics. Athlete residing, studying or working in Chandigarh will be eligible to participate in the championship. The interested can submit their entries with the organisers before August 9, 1.30 pm.

Carrom tourney from August 20

The 27th St Stephen’s Carrom Ranking Tournament will be organised under the aegis of the Chandigarh Carrom Association from August 20 to 22. In the three-day event, six events, including men and women singles, boys’ and girls’ singles (junior U-18), boys’ and girls’ singles (sub-junior U-14) will be organised. A player below the age of 18 years and 14 years as on December 31, 2025 will be eligible to participate in the junior and sub-junior category, respectively. The top eight ranked players will be awarded ranking points, which will be counted for selection of Chandigarh team for the national championships.
