At first, Janhvi looked like a simple Punjabi kudi in a salwar-kameez. Now, pictures of the 23-year-old have gone viral.

Janhvi’s look will remind netizens of her late mother and veteran star, Sridevi.

In the photos, Janhvi was seen surrounded by a blanket of security as she was shooting in Chandigarh. She was seen wearing a silver puffer jacket as she stepped out the vanity fan.

She wore a salwar-kameez, and her hair was tied up neatly in a braid. Along with this, the bindi added the girl-next-door vibe. She was seen interacting with the crew and security in one of the photos.

In one candid picture, Janhvi was shooting in a crowded market. She was seen posing with her fans for selfies. The young star resembled her mom, Sridevi, and her looks from films like ‘Sadma’ and ‘English Vinglish’.

Meanwhile, the shooting of the film begun a few weeks back when Janhvi headed to a small town in Punjab. However, due to the farmers’ protests and the unrest, the crew reportedly moved to Chandigarh.

The film is directed by Siddharth Sengupta, and penned by Pankaj Matta.

It is being produced by Aanand L Rai.

The film is reportedly a remake of South film ‘Kolamavu Kokila’.
