The feat places her behind only Sachin Tendulkar, who holds 19 Guinness records, making Janvi the country’s second-highest Guinness World Record holder.
Janvi received confirmation last week for six new titles, including most 360-degree rotations on inline skates in 30 seconds, most 360-degree rotations in one minute and most one-wheeled 360-degree rotations in 30 seconds, adding to the five records she secured in July 2025 across various freestyle categories. Remarkably, she achieved all 11 world records at the age of 17.
Accompanied by her father Munish Jindal, Janvi met Rajya Sabha MP and Chandigarh University Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu. He presented Janvi with a cash award of Rs 11,000 and offered admission to Chandigarh University under a sports scholarship.
“Holding 11 Guinness World Records at just 17 is an extraordinary accomplishment,” MP Sandhu said, adding that the university is committed to nurturing exceptional sporting talent.
A Class XII student at a government school in Chandigarh, Janvi is entirely self-taught, having learnt freestyle skating through online videos and guidance from her father. She has already won 3 gold, 3 bronze and 2 silver medals at national skating championships.
