Kendri Guru Singh Sabha organised a seminar at Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan to remember celebrated Punjabi writer Jaswant Singh Kanwal who passed away recently.

Many eminent Sikh and communist scholars spoke about the noted writer. Journalist Karamjit Singh talked about the ideological shifts in Kanwal’s writings. Another speaker Dr Swaraj Singh spoke about Kanwal’s concern about the problems of Punjab as reflected in his writings.

Sikh historian Ajmer Singh also talked about various aspects of Kanwal’s writings. Rajwinder Singh Rahi and Malwinder Singh Maali were also among the speakers. —TNS
