Jayesh Duggal defeated Hreeday Bansal 21-03 21-05 to win the boys’ U-11 final, on the concluding day of the 16th Ashwani Gupta Memorial badminton Championship, today. Duggal and Aarav Garg won the boys’ U-11 doubles final by defeating Vansh and Bansal 21-05 21-07.

In the girls’ U-11 final, Kenaz defeated Ritvika Madan 21-16 21-15. Akshay Machal won the boys’ U-13 title by defeating Duggal 21-12 21-07, whereas Akshay and Abhideep Rastogi won the U-13 doubles title by overpowering Duggal and Aryan Makkar 21-17 11-21 21-12. Bhavna Chahal defeated Ananya Saini 22-20 21-19 to win the girls’ U-13 final.

Vihan won the boys’ U-15 title by defeating Akshay Machal 21-12 21-13, and in the doubles event, Vihan and Makkar defeated Machal and Abhideep 21-15 22-20.

Bhavna won girls’ U-15 by defeating Ananya Saini 21-18 21-09. Ishan Sihag defeated Kunal Saini 21-12 21-07 to win boys’ U-17 final, whereas Saini and Amanpreet lifted the doubles title by defeating Sameer and Rajat 21-18 16-21 21-17.

Sihag won his second title by defeating Shubam 21-05 21-05 in boys’ U-19 category. In the girls’ U-19, Vineeta Panchal defeated Nikita 21-11 21-06. Sihag won the men’s title by defeating Mayank Taya 21-12 17-21 22-20.

Deepak Khatri and Ankit Malik won men’s doubles event by defeating Pranav and Ravinder 21-19 16-21 21-15.

In the men’s + 35/40 category, Rohit Mehra recorded a comeback 19-21 21-09 21-08 win over Vishal Khera. In the +35/40 doubles final, Khera and Dev Pahuja defeated Mahesh Mittal and Vivek Arora 21-13 21-09.

Vishal Sagar won the + 45/50/55 singles final, while + 45/50 doubles event, Vishal Sagar and Sachin Sachdeva defeated Rajiv Pusri and Gulshan Babbar 21-18 22-20. In the + 60 single final, Dharm Veer Jaglan defeated Nagesh Sharma 21-16 16-21 21-19.
