The Chandigarh Golf Club will organise junior summer camp to introduce children and teenagers to the sport and help budding players sharpen their skills.

The camp will be conducted from June 1 to 10 for kids aged 5 to 17 daily at the Chandigarh Golf Club Junior Range. The children will be taught the fundamentals of golf by top NGAI-certified professionals. There will be only 50 spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. A total of 25 per cent slots will be reserved for children from economically weaker sections (EWS), who can attend the camp free of cost.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
