Justice Sheel Nagu’s swearing-in as Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court today

Chandigarh: Four days after his appointment by the President, Justice Sheel Nagu will be sworn-in as Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court by Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit at 10 am on Tuesday in Punjab Raj Bhawan. High tea will be hosted at 10.45 am in the old conference hall of the HC. The court will commence functioning at 11:15 am.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
