A 20-year-youth and a juvenile have been apprehended by the police for attacking a minor with sharp weapon.
The police said the 17-year-old victim, a resident of Phase-II, Ram Darbar, had reported that he was going to his friend’s house when accused Tushar alias Kaka, Sunny, Sourab, Guni, Rohi alias Mikka allegedly obstructed his way and attacked him with sharp weapon and stones on December 12.
The attackers fled the spot after leaving the victim in a pool of blood. The police were informed about the incident and a case was registered at the Sector 31 police station. During investigation, accused Tushar was arrested. A 15-year-old juvenile was also apprehended by the police.
The police said Tushar had a criminal past with two cases registered against him.
