Kochhar shot four Birdies and one Eagle on the concluding day to claim the 14th spot. Recently, the 26-year-old had finished 17-under at Morocco Rising Star ADT Asian Tour and missed the title by one stroke.

Meanwhile, Suteepat Prateeptienchai won his fourth Asian Tour title – and the first outside Taiwan – with a sensational round that contained two eagles.

The 32-year-old Thai, back-to-back winner of 2023 Taiwan Glass Taifong Open in 2023 and 2024 and the 2024 Yeangder TPC, justified his opposition with 8-under par 64 to have a seven-shot win over Hong Kong’s Taichi Kho, who closed with a 66.

Halfway through the domestic circuit this year, Kochhar had claimed 8th position in the Tata Steel PGTI Players Championship, and a 10th finish at Gujarat Open. This month, he finished 6th in the Coal Open and 9th in the Mysuru Open.
